Aveiro is one of the most beautiful and extraordinary Portuguese cities. Nicknamed as the Portuguese Venice, in this city you will have a unique and memorable experience. On this one-day tour, we’ll take you to meet the secrets of our city and region, sightseeing through a town with millenarian traditions. We will take you on a typical “Moliceiro” boat cruise through the city canals, show you the passages through the historical center, the local neighbourhood of Beira-Mar, the extraordinary Art Nouveau buildings, and of course, taste the unique and delicious typical Monastery sweets – “Ovos Moles” (Soft Eggs), where your biggest challenge will be eating only one!

We will also visit the neighbouring village of Costa Nova, known for its colourful striped houses that stands out on the Aveiro estuary. High figures in society, such as Eça de Queirós, Guerra Junqueiro or Oliveira Martins, visited it to go for baths on its beautiful beaches and stroll through the unique landscape.
